Vanity Vault is committed to protecting your privacy. Here’s how we handle your data:

• Data Storage (On-Device): Inventory and expense data is stored locally on your iPhone/iPad. Vanity Vault does not operate its own servers for storing your data.
• Receipt Processing: If you scan receipts, text extraction (OCR) is performed on-device using Apple frameworks (e.g., Vision/VisionKit). If you attach receipt images, those images are stored on-device unless you export/share them.
• Encryption: Data at rest is protected by iOS security features (including device-level encryption) and by your device passcode/biometrics settings.
• Data Sharing: Vanity Vault does not sell your data. The app is designed to function without third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or data brokers.
• Permissions: Camera access is used only to capture receipts; notification permissions (if enabled) are used only for app alerts such as low-stock reminders.
• Export & Deletion: You can export data (e.g., CSV) and you can delete app data at any time from within the app (e.g., reset/delete flows). Exported files are saved to locations you choose and are outside the app’s control once shared.
